- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Minimum of 4+ years of civil engineering design experience
- At least 1+ years supporting solid waste, landfill, or waste facility projects. Strong technical understanding of waste and landfill systems, including grading, drainage, and site civil design
- Experience producing and reviewing engineering design drawings and calculations. Stable work history.
- Perform civil engineering design for solid waste and landfill projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility coordination.
- Develop construction drawings, technical specifications, and design calculations in accordance with regulatory and client requirements.
- Support landfill infrastructure projects such as cell development, liner systems, leachate collection, stormwater controls, and access roads.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (environmental, geotechnical, structural) to integrate design components.
- Assist project managers with technical input, schedules, and design deliverables across multiple projects.
- Review and incorporate client and regulatory agency comments into design documents.
- Ensure designs align with project budgets, schedules, and applicable solid waste regulations.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews and technical working sessions.
