Preconstruction Engineer

Preconstruction Engineer - up to $90,000 + Bonus

The Preconstruction Engineer is responsible for supporting the Preconstruction Team and their efforts. This person will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of complete and accurate proposals on various types of construction projects. The Project Engineer is expected to develop and maintain relationships with the internal team members, clients, design partners and subcontractors to support the company's success and growth.

This position is in-office and will be in Charlotte, NC

• Perform quantity take-offs
• Solicit, review and tabulate proposals from vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
• Begin developing skills to conceptualize designs and estimates on limited information
• Assist in developing schedules, clarifications, drawings and other proposal documents
• Assist with assessing potential risks and establishing contingency plans
• Assist with other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business/finance or related field of study is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptable to change. Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
