Construction Project Manager

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a fast‑growing, fully integrated team specializing in engineering, design, construction, smart manufacturing, and equipment manufacturing services. Our work spans multiple markets, including Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Data Centers, Distribution, Commercial, and Advanced Technology. We partner with both domestic and international clients and take pride in delivering innovative, high‑precision solutions.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate activities among subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, customers, and internal design/engineering teams.

* Monitor and report on project financials, including subcontract and contract administration.

* Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure construction progress aligns with planned timelines.

* Oversee purchasing and delivery of project materials, ensuring quality, pricing, and specification compliance.

* Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring clear scopes of work and responsibilities.

* Review and approve subcontractor and vendor payment requests.

* Issue and track changes in work to obtain timely pricing from subcontractors.

* Collaborate with design and engineering leadership to ensure projects meet technical requirements and client expectations.

* Prepare project management reports, including monthly files, progress updates, schedules, billings, and status summaries.

* Maintain organized job files to support workflow continuity.

* Provide verbal and written project status updates to management.

* Review shop drawings and submittals for scope compliance.

* Support estimating efforts and proposal development when needed.

* Enforce on‑site safety and quality programs.

Essential Skills

* 10-15 years of experience in construction management.

* 7-10 years of experience managing large industrial construction projects.

* Proven experience serving as the lead project manager on major construction efforts.

Additional Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

* Energetic, self‑motivated, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to professional growth.

* Proficiency with project management software such as Procore.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
