Civil Designer Job Description
As a Civil Designer, you will be responsible for preparing site development construction drawings and handling engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure. Your role will also involve managing permit applications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Regular client interaction is expected, so excellent communication skills are essential.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare site development construction drawings.
Manage engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.
Handle permit applications for various types of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial.
Interact regularly with clients and maintain excellent communication.
Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software effectively.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow efficiently.
Strong client service orientation and a self-starter attitude.
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience designing land development projects using Civil 3D software.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
EIT Certification or ability to obtain EIT Certification within 6 months.
You will work a regular schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday. The company offers a superior health, dental, vision, and Rx insurance program. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
