Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Engineer I in the Transportation team, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on design and technical documentation. You will collaborate with a team to prepare construction plans for a variety of transportation improvements from initial concept through construction administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development of engineering solutions for multi-modal transportation projects through the application of Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations.
- Designing and creating technical drawings in Micro Station Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD Carlson design software.
- Communicating across a multidisciplinary design team.
- Participating in transportation association networking events, classes, trainings, and seminars.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university
- 0 to 1 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically transportation design
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for team collaboration
- Experience in Micro Station or AutoCAD preferred
