Jim Myers & Sons, Inc. (JMS) is seeking an experienced Supplier & Product Quality Engineer – to support the quality, compliance, and performance of engineered-to-order stainless steel equipment used in municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.
This is a hybrid, hands-on quality engineering role focused on supplier and vendor product quality, quality planning, specification review, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle—from quotation and design review through fabrication, inspection, delivery, and warranty support.
The Quality Engineer works cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Business Development, and interfaces directly with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and consulting engineers. The ideal candidate has practical experience in fabricated metal products, understands applicable codes and standards, and is comfortable working both in an office environment and at supplier or manufacturing locations (which may require up to 25% travel).
