Essential Duties Project Design- Support and lead mechanical system design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems within assigned project scope, in coordination with senior engineers and project managers.
- Develop construction and shop drawings utilizing Autodesk software.
- Perform load calculations and assist with equipment selection for mechanical systems.
- Design air, hydronic, and ventilation systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining system performance and code compliance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Support LEED documentation and energy performance reviews as required by project scope.
- Assist with commissioning activities, development of system narratives, and coordination of control sequences.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, service, and controls teams to support project delivery.
- Contribute to mechanical design development from concept through construction documentation in accordance with project schedules.
- Collaborate with field teams to address constructability questions, RFIs, and design clarifications.
- Maintain organization and distribution of models, drawings, and project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and design reviews to support timely and accurate deliverables.
- Stay informed of evolving mechanical technologies and industry best practices for potential application.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical curriculum from an accredited program. - Professional
Experience:- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical system design for commercial or industrial buildings.
- Exposure to construction, design-build, or contractor-integrated environments preferred.
- Technical
Skills:- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical system design and documentation.
- Experience performing HVAC load calculations and developing construction-level drawings.
- Working knowledge of air distribution, hydronic systems, and mechanical equipment selection.
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly with project teams.
- OSHA 10 Certification or ability to obtain.

- Ability to manage multiple design tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborative team member with the ability to work independently when needed.
Salary;
Compensation is based on experience and education, with a typical range of $75,000 to $95,000.
Annual Bonus:
An annual bonus is awarded based on department performance.
