As a large-scale manufacturer operating advanced automated equipment, this facility continues to invest heavily in modern controls, upgraded processing lines, and expanded production capacity. We are growing and looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to support ongoing reliability and automation initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and commission a wide range of electrical/automation components--PLCs, HMIs, drives, servos, motors, sensors, power supplies.
  • Update/modify and create new PLC and HMI programs, save parameter files, and manage software revisions.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
  • Support emergency breakdowns to quickly restore equipment to operation.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve process bottlenecks and improve reliability.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
  • Participate in equipment startups, shutdowns, and improvement projects.
What You Need for This Position
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience working with PLC/HMI programming across multiple platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.).
  • Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to make accurate, safe electrical repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments; strong communication skills.
  • Experience in continuous process or high-speed manufacturing preferred or system integration.
