Position Overview

They are seeking a motivated Junior Forensic Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for an early‑career engineer passionate about failure investigations, building diagnostics, and structural or building‑enclosure performance
. You will support senior engineers in investigating damage, defects, and performance issues across various building types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with forensic investigations involving structures, building envelopes, and construction performance.
  • Conduct field inspections and document structural or enclosure conditions.
  • Support diagnostic testing such as moisture mapping, roofing assessments, and material evaluations.
  • Help analyze potential causes of building failures, damage, or performance deficiencies.
  • Contribute to detailed technical reports outlining findings and recommended solutions.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including architects, structural engineers, and building‑science specialists.
  • Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and high technical standards in all workli>
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering
    , or related field.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (
    EIT
    ) credential or intent to obtain.
  • Strong interest in forensic engineering, building diagnostics, construction materials, and structural analysis.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel for field investigations.
  • Curiosity, strong analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn from experienced forensic engineers.
