We are looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support production, testing (FAT/EQT), and continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as a key connection between Engineering and Operations—helping to resolve technical issues, improve build processes, and enhance product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret design models/drawings and communicate technical requirements to production teams.
  • Improve assembly, testing, and QA processes for increased efficiency and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support solutions with engineering and operations teams.
  • Assist with Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and root-cause analysis with QA.
  • Support the implementation of new tools, methods, and best practices that streamline manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain timeline and budget alignment.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in electrical assembly or production environments.
  • Knowledge of CSA, UL, NEC standards.
  • Ability to read/interpret manufacturing drawings and schematics.
  • AutoCAD proficiency;
    Solid Works and ERP experience are assets.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel within North America (and occasionally internationally).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Additional Skills
  • Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
