Location:

Charlotte, NC.

• HVAC Design – ductwork, piping, equipment sizing and selection
• Direct expansion (DX) equipment, VRV/VRF air‑conditioning systems, central chilled water and heating water plants
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations
• New building and remodeling construction design

• Familiar with Trane Trace and Carrier HAP programs
• Performing design calculations, equipment selection, and layout of HVAC equipment
• Heating (gas or water) and cooling (chilled water) central plant system design
• Experience with building energy performance software (COMcheck, Rescheck) and green building certification criteria such as LEED
• Knowledge of project design‑phase deliverables
• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing general requirements for discussions with owners, contractors, architects, and code authorities
• Knowledge of construction administration responsibilities including submittal review, RFI responses, site visits, and writing field reports
• AutoCAD proficiency;
  Revit experience is a plus!
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, EIT or P.E. license preferred
