The Compliance Engineer will support growing compliance and regulatory demands of InVue product development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background who is eager to learn and grow in the field of compliance engineering. The compliance engineer will assist in ensuring InVue products and processes meet applicable global standards and regulations, working closely with engineering, quality, and development teams.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Interpret and apply regulatory requirements (e.g. CE, ISO, IEC, FCC, UL, etc.) to engineering processes and product development
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure compliance is integrated early into product lifecycle stages
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including compliance reports, test plans, and validation protocols
- Interface with global regulatory bodies and certification agencies (TUV SUD, UL, FCC, ETL, etc.)
- Monitor changes in regulations and standards and update internal processes accordingly
- Identify and implement improvements to compliance processes
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science field and 2+ years of relevant experience or Associate of Science degree in engineering or related science field and 3+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience working with global regulatory bodies and certification agencies
- Strong understanding of technical standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret complex technical and regulatory information
- Characterized by integrity and high professional standards
- Strong project management and communication skills including reporting of compliance budgeting and project schedules
- Ability to work effectively within time constraints and changing priorities
- Familiarity with REACH, RoHS, PFAS and sustainability regulations preferred
- Submission experience with CE, CB, UL, FCC and other related submission processes preferred
- Experience with RFID, Wireless, IR, and Bluetooth a plus
