Senior Civil Engineer – Atlanta, GA
Pay and LocationBase salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year. Actual pay will be discussed with the manager during the interview.
Responsibilities- Project Leadership:
Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance. - Team Coordination:
Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both local and remote, to meet project objectives. - Innovative Design Solutions:
Develop sustainable, cost‑effective engineering solutions for complex challenges. - Mentorship and Development:
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and foster a learning environment. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure projects meet industry standards, codes, and environmental regulations. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities. - Budgeting and Scheduling:
Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling for timely delivery. - Quality Control:
Conduct quality control reviews on engineering designs and documentation. - Industry Expertise:
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to incorporate innovative approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering with diverse background in land development, site design, commercial, office, higher education, mixed‑use, residential, healthcare, and municipal projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and leading design team efforts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry‑standard tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Metro Atlanta experience and relationships a plus.
