Senior Project Manager

Description:
Hybrid in Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the DEC Region. This role focuses on Transmission Interconnections, and we are looking for a candidate with a strong background in electrical engineering and direct experience in project and/or construction management within transmission or utility-related projects.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $68 - $72 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage transmission interconnection projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in project and/or construction management, specifically in transmission or utility-related projects.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
