Job Description
This position is for the design, development, and maintenance of facilities and production equipment used across the site. This role ensures that all equipment operates at optimal performance levels and adheres to safety and regulatory standards. Key duties include troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and coordinating new equipment installations. This individual will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
A strong problem‑solving ability, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Manage repair and preventative maintenance initiatives for facilities and process equipment.
- Create designs, configurations, and schematics for new equipment, and customize solutions for operational needs.
- Manage the setup and integration of new machinery.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans, perform calibration, troubleshoot issues, and manage repairs to minimize downtime.
- Analyze equipment data / SPC data to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for better performance.
- Work with production, maintenance, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
- Create, revise, organize site equipment documentation.
- Ensure compliance to applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations. Principal participant in site ISO 14001 Environmental Management system.
- Act as the company representative and liaison with external suppliers and vendors on equipment and/or facility related issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of equipment/facilities experience in the wafer processing environment.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preferably with semiconductor equipment such as in‑line steppers and aligners, coat/develop tracks, wafer bonders, plasma etchers, overlay tools and dicing saws along with facility wide HVAC, Chilled Water, Power and UPS systems.
- Strong demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to think clearly, and quickly grasp significant issues.
- Decision making ability and effectiveness.
- Broad technical curiosity, fast learner, creative problem solver, and ability to effectively implement ideas.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to act independently.
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,300 - $141,300.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
