Position: Maintenance Planner - Large Power Transformer

About the role A Snapshot of Your Day

Asa maintenance planner, your primary role is to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance activities by prioritizing and scheduling tasks (especially preventive), coordinating resources, and minimizing equipment downtime. You will analyze equipment performance data to develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, maintain detailed records on COMOS and SAP, and collaborate with teams across departments to align maintenance priorities with production goals.

Additionally, you will manage spare parts inventory, liaise with suppliers, and participate in meetings to address urgent issues. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and effective communication to ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in maintenance operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Manage Work Ordersand Maintenance Planning:
    Review, prioritize, and schedule maintenance tasks based on urgency, production needs, and resource availability. Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability.

  • Coordinate Resources and Inventory:
    Ensure timely availability of tools, spare parts, materials, and personnel for scheduled maintenance. Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement to prevent delays or shortages.

  • Maintain Machine Structure and BOMs:
    Create and update detailed machine Bills of Materials (BOMs), including accurate spare part definitions and preventive replacement schedules, leveraging Siemens Energy expertise and OEM recommendations.

  • Utilize SAP and COMOS Systems:
    Accurately track work orders, asset history, and maintenance activities in SAP and COMOS. Generate performance reports to support data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement.

  • Analyze Equipment Performance:
    Use historical data and performance trends to identify inefficiencies, optimize maintenance strategies, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

  • Ensure Compliance and Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Align maintenance activities with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to synchronize maintenance with operational goals.

What You Bring
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance planner within large‑scale companies or 5 years as maintenance technician.

  • Education in mechanics, electrical, or electromechanics.

  • Discipline and organization in the execution of tasks.

  • Strong interpersonal skills (communication with the internal maintenance team, suppliers, and production team).

  • Intermediate knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).

  • Knowledge of SAP and/or COMOS is considered an advantage.
