Job Description: They are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Building Diagnostics Team, which is one of the most profitable teams across the company. You will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on the investigation, evaluation, and rehabilitation of existing structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural design, investigation, and repair projects.
- Perform and review structural analysis and design calculations.
- Prepare and manage the creation of drawings and specifications.
- Oversee and mentor CAD technicians.
- Manage project budgets and schedules.
- Interact with clients and prepare technical reports.
- Conduct condition assessments and develop remedial work options and costs.
- Implement design tasks in accordance with building code requirements.
- Supervise construction administration tasks and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) required.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
