- Design of building systems, structural elements and connections under the supervision of a professional engineer by performing engineering calculations/analyse
- Design structures of a variety of materials including steel, concrete, wood and masonry.
- Analyze existing structures for new uses and design repairs/reinforcement where required for existing conditions.
- Coordinate with other disciplines including architectural, mechanical and civil regarding the projects design.
- Provide construction administration assistance in responses to
- Perform site visits, inspections and review of shop drawings
- Prepare detailed design calculations and construction drawings
- Strong all‑around theoretical knowledge of structural engineering principles
- Ability to apply structural engineering principles to design of various elements
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) a must
- EIT/FE certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering from an ABET accredited college
- Master's degree in structural engineering
