Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green‑Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Role and Responsibilities- Interfacing with customers to gather requirements and create estimates
- Collaborative design with customers and manufacturing personnel within Composite Resources
- Lead multi‑departmental project planning and design review meetings
- Generate CAD and drawings required for part and tooling chain
- Generate production support documentation such as ply kits and lamination instructions
- Specify required materials, BOM generation
- Define and maintain project timelines
- Monitor project costs
- Provide manufacturing support
- BS or MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or related field)
- 6+ years of experience in composite component design and manufacturing; aerospace experience is preferred
- Strong project management skills, scoping, scheduling, and communication
- Ability to build relationships with customers and internal leadership
- Self‑motivated with strong personal workload management skills
- Successful management of multiple projects, scheduling, and scoping
- Experience in mold design, DFM, fixturing, and work instruction development
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- High‑level proficiency in Solid Works or similar solid‑basis or surface‑modeling software
- High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with ERP systems, workflows, and ISO/AS environments
