We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager with a deep understanding and extensive experience in civil and water resources engineering, civil technology, and construction management principles. The ideal candidate will be well‑versed in the design and construction of Industrial Water and Wastewater infrastructure. They must be able to work effectively within a team, communicate clearly with project team members and clients, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation.

This role primarily involves supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects in the municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Expertise in the construction and design of water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure.
  • Partner with project directors in responding to Request for Proposals, including preparation of conceptual estimates, schedules, and other proposal documents.
  • Prepare detailed estimates, input cost codes, and maintain cost control systems.
  • Work with directors of construction and construction core personnel to establish job organization, including superintendents and self‑perform craft worker requirements; maintain submittal control.
  • Prepare and secure owner acceptance of contract change orders.
  • Manage and ensure payments to subcontractors and vendors; effectively direct project close‑out tasks and warranty work.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (or equivalent) plus 10+ years of experience in Industrial Water/Wastewater facility construction, design, or management preferred.
  • Knowledge of the design and construction of Water/Wastewater facilities.
  • Research experience is a plus with excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer relationship skills.
  • Self‑motivated, high energy, and engaging enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time wisely, and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • This role requires 50%+ travel.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the position requires ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10‑50 pounds. Requires good hand‑eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.

The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
