As a Senior Field Service Technician , you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, repairing, and commissioning electrical power delivery and control systems. You’ll provide technical leadership and support to our customers while collaborating closely with our internal field personnel. This position requires significant experience in power systems and a willingness to travel frequently, primarily within Florida and nearby regions.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Comply with all ABB and customer EHS policies and procedures.
• Install, maintain, repair, and commission equipment used in power delivery, control systems, and power quality systems.
• Develop strong working relationships with team members and follow directions from Field Engineers and Senior Management.
• Cultivate excellent relationships with clients to build a strong base of referral business.

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in power systems, startup/commissioning, testing, and maintenance, or a combination of education and experience (2-year degree with 5 years' experience or HS diploma with 10 years' experience).
• Experience with various electrical controls and systems, including:
• Mid-Voltage and Low-Voltage Switchgear
• Power Panels & Motor Control Centers (MCC)
• Generators & Transformers Maintenance
• Relay Testing & Installation
• PLC's & DCS, Wiring Diagrams, Blueprints & Schematics
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to travel 60% of the time, primarily within Florida.
• Work authorization to permit employment with ABB in the US.
