What You Will Be Doing- Deliver individualized and small-group coaching to PreK Guides, demonstrating proven methods and recognizing quantifiable progress
- Create and lead play-based instructional segments integrating social-emotional learning, early literacy, math foundations, and physical development—setting the standard for the entire team
- Evaluate and align Guide records each week to ensure rubric consistency and clear action steps, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain transparency on milestone achievement
- Develop communications for families and conduct team briefings that synchronize focus and uphold collective standards around campus PreK readiness objectives
PreK Instructional Coach key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; advanced degree or specialized certification is preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related area
- Demonstrated experience facilitating group learning with children aged 3 to 5
- Documented success designing and executing play-based programs or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori approaches
- Minimum 1 year coaching or supervising teaching staff with accountability for performance outcomes
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities to deliver family updates and coordinate team efforts
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with no requirement for visa sponsorship
- Commitment to on-campus presence at Alpha Austin, with relocation support offered as applicable

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
