What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, coaching them while reinforcing reading skills delivered by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving using consistent structure paired with warmth
- Monitoring student development and challenges, identifying concerns early, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
- Establishing a classroom environment that balances structure, playfulness, and personalization
- Must be available to work full-time and in-person at our campus in Chicago, IL;
Miami, FL;
Palo Alto, CA;
San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA - Bachelor s degree in any discipline
- 3+ years of experience engaging with children ages 4–8 in educational, after school, coaching, or comparable settings
- Captivating storyteller and dynamic speaker: capable of engaging and maintaining the focus of groups of young children
- Capable of maintaining high expectations for yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their goals
- Growth mindset and receptive to coaching
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
