Adjunct Faculty - Humanities

Position Summary

The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a regional campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC is accepting applications for adjunct faculty in the following disciplines:

• Art/Art History
• Communication/Public Speaking
• English/Literature
• Foreign Languages
• History
• Philosophy
• Political Science

Candidates may be asked to teach at an off campus site located in Indian Land. Other options include teaching dual credit courses, online courses, daytime, or evening courses.

Minimum qualifications are a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.

Adjunct faculty will teach courses in the selected discipline, develop course materials, assess student learning, and serve the student community.
