Summer Enrichment Teacher - Urban Promise Charlotte
Urban Promise Charlotte is now hiring for Summer 2026! Looking for a creative way to spend your summer? Urban Promise Charlotte, a local nonprofit providing free summer camp for underserved communities in Charlotte, is seeking experienced performers and/or instructors to join our team to serve as teachers in their craft of choice for our summer day camps.
- Monday-Thursday camp (you're home by the afternoon!)
- NO parent interaction (our full time staff will handle parent interaction and take care of all pictures, you get to have fun!)
Northside Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah Blvd
DatesJune 22 - July 31
Monday through Thursdays 2:00 - 3:30 PM. Can be full day (4 days a week) or part time (2 days a week).
About the Position- Lead an enrichment offering hands-on, engaging learning for a group of 15-20 campers ranging in age from Kindergarten to 7th grade
- Training/strong skills in arts (ex. song, dance, drama, arts & crafts)
- Ability to create and implement lesson plans
- Experience working with children in grades Kindergarten-8th grade preferred
- Must be comfortable with teaching a wide range of abilities and temperaments of children
- High school students will be available to support classroom management
- $17-$25 an hour
