What You Will Be Doing
  • Developing and training Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops with exceptional quality
  • Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies
  • Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that enhances student participation and outcomes
  • Serving as direct mentor to a select student cohort, demonstrating advanced coaching and motivational techniques
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Developing curriculum content – your Guides support student learning through adaptive technology; your priority is training them to become outstanding motivators
  • Accepting reduced expectations – when our success threshold is 100%, you are responsible for upholding that standard
  • Conducting passive training sessions – you ll develop Guides through dynamic, energetic, experiential professional development

Key Responsibilities

Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort achieves enthusiasm for school, accelerated learning at 2× conventional speed, and life skills mastery. No exceptions.

Basic Requirements
  • Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD;
    Boston, MA;
    Chicago, IL;
    Fort Lauderdale, FL;
    Seattle, WA; or CA:
    East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)
  • Hold a Bachelor s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related domains
  • Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams
  • Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
  • Competence in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For details, consult
