Adjunct Faculty for Computer Science
This part‑time appointment is expected to begin in August 2023 and is contingent upon departmental needs.
Responsibilities- Teach computer science courses to support the liberal studies curriculum and degree programs in the department.
- Evaluate and incorporate current technology into courses.
- Maintain positive educational relationships with students and colleagues.
- Master’s degree or higher with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Science.
- Experience teaching or mentoring a diverse student body is preferred.
Finalists are subject to a background check.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity check.

- Statement of Teaching Philosophy
- Unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended (official transcripts will be required of finalists)
- Official JCSU Application
- Three signed Letters of Recommendation on letterhead from individuals familiar with the candidate’s teaching abilities, scanned directly to bjhunt by the recommendation author.
