Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Turner School of Accountancy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Accounting at the Assistant Professor level. A doctoral degree in the field of accounting, or a doctoral degree in business with specialization in accounting, from an accredited school is required. We welcome applicants from all areas of accounting with priority given for applicants who teach tax or accounting information systems/data analytics.
A strong commitment to excellence in high quality, innovative research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. Appointees are expected to publish in leading academic journals.
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and ExperienceA doctoral degree from an accredited school in the field of accounting or closely related discipline is required.
