Job Summary

Invite applications for an IR/Comparative Assistant Professor focus on Security and Intelligence/Methods, research‑intensive, 2-2 course load.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching, advising, curriculum development, course design, grading.
  • Research: produce new knowledge, publish, sustain research agenda, seek extramural support.
  • Service: university governance, public service, professional service.
  • Engage students to eliminate barriers and increase success.
Essential Functions
  • Subject matter competence in Security and Intelligence/Methods.
  • Active scholarship and teaching excellence.
Qualifications
  • Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the discipline or related field.
  • Ph.D. in Political Science or related field by appointment.
  • Research and teaching expertise in Security and Intelligence and research methods.
  • Promise of research and teaching excellence in both areas.
