Atrium Health, part of Advocate Health—one of the nation’s largest nonprofit, integrated health systems—seeking an experienced Fellowship Director in Primary Care Sports Medicine to lead a well-established, 20-year fellowship program in Concord, NC, just outside of Charlotte, NC. This is a rare opportunity to combine academic leadership, clinical excellence, and community impact in a highly respected sports medicine program.

• Direct a mature, accredited fellowship program with a strong legacy and institutional support
• Faculty leadership opportunity within The Cabarrus Sports Medicine Fellowship and MSKI Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at Poplar Tent

  :
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with minimal call (1:20, after-hours only)
• Team Physician responsibilities for a local high school and a Division II college
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside Sports Medicine Physicians and a Physiatrist
• Non-surgical, procedure-focused practice
  , including:

• Musculoskeletal injuries, concussions, arthritis, fractures

• Ultrasound-guided injections and orthobiologics

• Advanced clinical efficiency tools including EPIC EMR and DAX Copilot

• Guide curriculum development, fellow education, and program growth

• Mentor fellows and junior faculty in clinical excellence and professional development

• Opportunity to contribute to academic initiatives and regional sports medicine strategy

• MD or DO

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship

• CAQ in Sports Medicine required

• Prior faculty experience required

• Assistant or Associate Fellowship Director experience preferred
