Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a part-time psychiatrist to join our team!

Opportunity Highlights:

• The Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients on our 75-bed adult unit
• 7on/7off shared with another part-time psychiatrist; every other 7on week
• Ability to teach UNC-Chapel Hill Medical Students
• Psychiatrists will have access to a full spectrum of care options for individuals with treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders ranging from child/adolescent to geriatric age groups

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Patient population:
  All Ages
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide timely assessments for inpatients
• Collaborative approach with nursing, therapy, social work, and disposition teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide supervision and mentorship of medical students
• APP Supervision
• Call rotation
