We are currently seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) Internal Medicine Physician to join our team and help shape the future of healthcare in our community.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a patient panel of 18-22 patients per day (after an initial ramp-up period).
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary care in an outpatient setting.
- Independently diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and therapies to treat illness and prevent disease.
- Communicate clearly with patients and their families about care plans, test results, and treatment options.
- Provide preventative health education and wellness advice related to nutrition, physical activity, hygiene, and lifestyle.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records in the EMR system (Athena).
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
- Support and manage patients with long-term care needs.
- Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure integrated, team-based care.

Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
- Current and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain one in North Carolina.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong alignment with integrated, team-based care models.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR platforms (Athena experience preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted DEA license.
- Medicare provider number.
- 3-7 years of clinical experience preferred.
