Thoracic Surgeon (Charlotte, NC)
Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Full‑time board‑eligible/board‑certified Thoracic Surgeon to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Candidates should be fellowship trained in Thoracic Surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Join a collaborative and dedicated team providing care in one of North Carolina’s most desirable regions.

Opportunity Highlights- Established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina
- The Thoracic program includes lung cancer screening, a lung nodule clinic, and multidisciplinary care involving surgery, radiation, and medical oncology
- Team of 12 Providers in both cardiac and thoracic service lines: 4 physicians & 8 APPs
- Our comprehensive cancer program is designed to promote disease sub‑specialization and foster collaborative, multi‑disciplined team‑based care
- The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research
- Teaching opportunities available through our clinical affiliation with UNC‑Chapel Hill, working with UNC medical students
- Engage in a weekly multi‑disciplinary cancer conference to support patient‑centered care
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both the clinic and operating room
- Call duties are shared with the Cardio‑Thoracic Team, rotating every 3‑4 days and weekends
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Thoracic Surgery
