Overview
Dental Office Manager – Charlotte, NC
We are an established and growing dental practice seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee front-office operations and support a busy clinical team. This role is essential to maintaining efficient daily workflows, accurate billing and insurance processes, and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing dental office operations in a fast-paced environment.

- Manage daily front-office operations, including patient check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling
- Handle incoming calls, patient inquiries, and office communications
- Verify insurance benefits prior to patient appointments and maintain accurate records
- Review treatment plans and financial estimates with patients; explain insurance coverage and anticipated out-of-pocket costs
- Submit pre-authorizations as required prior to treatment
- Prepare, review, and submit dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile EOBs and insurance payments; post payments and write-offs correctly
- Follow up on unpaid claims, insurance denials, and outstanding patient balances
- Review daily charges to ensure accuracy between treatment plans, clinical notes, and services rendered
- Coordinate closely with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and scheduling
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a general dentistry office
- Strong working knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and claims processing
- Experience using Dentrix or other comparable dental practice management software
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Pay: $24–$28 per hour, based on experience
