Position Mandate

The National Key Accounts Manager is accountable for the strategy, performance, and senior-level relationships of designated large group practice (DSO) accounts across Canada. This role builds and executes the national approach for this segment, aligning cross-functional teams (sales, leadership, distribution partners, and select U.S. stakeholders) to deliver integrated, customer-focused business solutions that maximize long-term growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes account strategies for assigned large group practice (DSO) customers.
  • Designs, implements, and manages programs and promotions for targeted DSO accounts.
  • Serves as the single point of representation for all Dentsply Sirona business units (equipment, consumables, and specialties).
  • Owns national coordination of all DSO activities in partnership with regional business managers, field sales teams, distributors, and product specialists.
  • Manages distributor relationships and sales performance for assigned DSO accounts.
  • Prepares and leads Large Account Management Process (LAMP) plans and/or Joint Business Plans; monitors performance and resolves issues to mutual satisfaction.
  • Delivers financial results by achieving budgeted revenue, growth, and profitability targets across all business units.
  • Drives brand penetration and market share within the DSO segment.
  • Ensures all proposals, contracts, and agreements maximize profitability and are executed effectively.
  • Provides actionable insights on DSO market trends, risks, and growth opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Conducts high-impact selling presentations using traditional and innovative approaches.
  • Manages contract execution, follow-up, and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensures full compliance with company policies, expense reporting, complaint handling processes, Marketing Code of Conduct, anticompetitive regulations, and applicable national account policies.
  • Performs additional duties and special projects as required.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales and financial objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop, articulate, and defend ROI-based solutions.
  • Advanced analytical, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital workflows, clinical processes, and DSO operations.
  • Demonstrated capability to organize and lead meetings, presentations, and product training for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage conflict, resolve complex issues, and operate independently in a matrixed organization.
