TOOLPORT US, Inc is the newly formed US division ofTOOLPORT GmbH, a European leader of online sales of party tents, gazebos, pop-up canopies, storage tents, portable garages, greenhouses, raised garden beds and more – serving both homeowners and professionals. The US business operates with support from TOOLPORT’s global headquarters in Norderstedt, Germany.

About the Role:

The Customer Service Associate is a part‑time entry‑level role within TOOLPORT US’s Customer Service team. This position supports day‑to‑day customer service and e‑commerce operations across our direct websites’ and marketplaces. The role focuses on providing excellent support to customers, assisting with order processing, and maintaining accurate product and marketplace information for our portfolio of hardgoods. Reporting to the US Head of Sales & Customer Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding products, orders, and returns.
  • Assist with initial inquiries, order processing, returns, and exchanges.
  • Provide product information for hardgoods including tents, greenhouses, canopies, and accessories.
  • Track and manage customer support tickets using our CRM (customer relationship management) application and other internal tools.
  • Collaborate with the US operations, sales, and management teams to ensure timely processes and actions.
  • Assist in monitoring product listings, inventory, and content accuracy on e‑commerce platforms.
  • Follow internal processes to resolve customer issues and escalate more complex matters to senior team members.
  • Participate in team training, meetings, and development sessions.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1‑3 of experience in customer service, retail, or e‑commerce preferred.
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hardgoods (tents, greenhouses, storage solutions) is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 and SAP is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Additional Information:
  • The hourly range for this position is $19‑22. We use this range in good faith to plan for the role. Actual hourly rate may be higher or lower than this range, at the company’s sole discretion.
  • No relocation support is available for this role.
