Brooksource is looking for an Associate Content Strategist for our fortune 200 banking partner. Our partner has a User Experience group that is assembling the highest caliber interaction, content, conversation, visual designers, and usability engineers. They are currently looking for an entry/associate-level content strategist to join our team.
The content strategist we’re looking for will be a part of our Enterprise UX team supporting experience enhancements for our partner's multiple businesses. They’ll be sharp, ambitious, and have an undeniable way with words. And they’ll do more than just write – though they’ll do that, too – they’ll also define the content strategy and narrative arc of the services we bring to our customers.
TheWork Itself
- Create content strategies that span app, web, email, text, and conversational AI across key Ally initiatives
- Write words that bring our business objectives and brand voice to life
- Put user research, site analytics, SEO analytics, usability findings, and design standards to good use developing solutions
- Collaborate with designers, editors, information architects, and beyond to do great work
- Partner with legal, risk, and compliance teams to make sure our content doesn’t introduce unnecessary risks.
- Work within online prototypes to develop, share, and edit solutions
- Become an expert in and potentially help contribute to our design system content standards
- Sometimes do a lot of things that are all important at roughly the same time
- Present to our leadership teams. We believe in an inverted pyramid.
- 1-2 years of digital content experience is appropriate. Experience with finance is a bonus, but not required.
- Bachelor's in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Usability, Research, Business Psychology, or comparable experience and a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in digital content strategy
- Prior experience crafting digital content. Experience in creating copy decks or prototypes that capture online and mobile content, authenticated spaces and user content flows is key
- Experience developing and analyzing content in digital environments such as: content audits, content strategy recommendations, persona assessments, taxonomy efforts, and applied usability
- Experience collaborating in agile environments is preferred
- Must be articulate and inspire commitment to a higher standard
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to balance business needs with customer experience
- Familiarity with Figma
