Royal Change is a leading online fitness, nutrition, and apparel company headquartered in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a Videographer / Video Editor to join our team and help accelerate our rapidly growing brand through compelling, high-quality video content that educates, inspires, and drives meaningful change.

We are seeking a highly experienced, extremely organized, and detail-oriented Videographer / Video Editor with years of proven, relatable experience editing fitness and instructional content. This role requires a deep understanding of fitness, nutrition, coaching, and teaching through video.

The ideal candidate understands the discipline and consistency behind daily fitness programming and is comfortable maintaining a high standard of quality across consistent long-form workout video edits, while also balancing a recurring workload of short-form content that varies in edit style, pacing, and creativity.

This role goes beyond executing instructions. We are looking for someone who brings creative vision, insight, and problem-solving to the table. Someone who can see the story within the footage, elevate content through thoughtful edits, visuals, animations, pacing, and music, and help piece together meaningful narratives that allow viewers to better understand what is being taught while feeling inspired, confident, and proud of their progress.

Applicants should be prepared to share a portfolio of relevant work and be willing to complete a short paid project assignment to evaluate creative thinking, storytelling ability, organization, and execution.

This creative and talented individual will produce high-quality video content that teaches, motivates, and connects with our audience. The position will be multi-faceted and collaborative, producing video content across all areas of Royal Change including daily workouts, educational content, brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and social media.

• Film and edit high-quality video content including daily long-form workout videos, educational segments, lifestyle footage, and brand campaigns
• Maintain consistency and clarity across high-volume long-form workout edits while balancing short-form content with varied creative styles
• Edit instructional and fitness-based content with a strong emphasis on teaching, comprehension, and viewer engagement
• Identify and highlight moments of progress, transformation, and storytelling within footage
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple compelling short-form pieces for social media platforms
• Use thoughtful pacing, cutaways, captions, overlays, examples, animations, and visuals to reinforce spoken instruction
• Maintain high production standards across audio quality, lighting consistency, framing, and visual composition
• Source, license, organize, and manage music thoughtfully to support tone, pacing, and emotional impact
• Collaborate closely with hosts and internal teams to understand creative intent, brand standards, and music preferences
• Review, analyze, and document audience feedback including comments, critiques, viewer retention, and engagement metrics
• Apply audience feedback and performance insights to continuously improve future edits
• Take detailed notes on editing preferences, music selections, pacing, and recurring feedback and apply them consistently
• Maintain exceptional organization across all projects including file structure, naming conventions, version control, timelines, and asset management
• Proactively bring new ideas, tools, editing techniques, and creative insights to ownership
• Stay current on editing trends, viewer psychology, and engagement strategies to keep content compelling and difficult to look away from

• Deep understanding of fitness instruction, coaching cues, and movement-based education
• Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to translate spoken instruction into clear and meaningful visual narratives
• Advanced understanding of platform-specific requirements including aspect ratios, resolutions, codecs, and delivery formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Cap Cut, with adaptability across other relevant and emerging editing tools
• Strong technical knowledge of audio capture, lighting, camera operation, and post-production workflows
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools used to enhance editing quality and workflow efficiency without relying on them as a creative crutch
• Ability to evaluate long-form content and instinctively identify moments that translate into engaging short-form edits
