A well-established civil contractor in Charlotte is expanding its estimating team and looking to hire four Estimators as part of a major growth phase.
Following significant investment and acquisition by a major regional organization, the Charlotte division has a clear mandate to scale. In the past 18 months the business has more than doubled in size, and with a strong pipeline ahead, the estimating team is growing from 4 to 8 estimators to support this next stage.
The company specializes in civil and site development projects, including:
- Mass grading
- Commercial site packages
Typical project values range from $5M – $50M
.
We’re looking for Estimators with civil site development experience, particularly in grading and utilities. Strong skills in take-offs, pricing and bid preparation are key.
- Senior Estimators will lead full estimates, manage complex site packages and contribute to strategic bid decisions.
- Assistant or Junior Estimators
, including recent construction graduates
, are also encouraged to apply.
The team currently uses Bid2
Win for estimating and Agtek for take-offs. Experience with these platforms is helpful, but not essential for candidates with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
