Our Civil Construction client is looking for a Jr. Repairs Superintendent. Preferred NC but can reside in the following states: NC, MD, TN, WV, VA, SC, GA. This is a strong growth opportunity for someone looking to develop into a Superintendent role through hands‑on field experience, direct mentorship from senior leadership, and exposure to complex bridge and industrial repair projects.

Must Haves
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Willingness to travel to various project locations as needed
  • Basic familiarity or exposure to bridge maintenance or heavy civil construction processes
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, track progress, and use company systems for reporting and scheduling
Pluses
  • Previous experience in construction or field leadership roles
  • Understanding of advanced bridge repair methods (including concrete repair, shotcrete, beam plating, joint restoration, epoxy injection)
  • Experience with coatings or containment solutions
  • Knowledge of steel bearing replacement and bridge lifting techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Day to Day

In this position, you will assist a Senior Superintendent on bridge repair and industrial construction projects, gaining hands‑on experience in all aspects of field work. During the initial six months, most of your time will be spent performing practical tasks such as surface preparation, demolition, repairs, and other on‑site construction activities to build a strong foundation in the trade. You will also support planning and scheduling, participate in crew meetings, monitor production, help maintain safety and quality standards, document project progress, and coordinate with subcontractors.

This is a fully field‑based role with travel across multiple states. Projects typically last between two months and two years, providing opportunities to advance toward a Superintendent position.
