PreConstruction Coordinator Residential Remodeling

The Pre-Construction Coordinator plays a key role in the planning and preparation phases of our residential remodeling projects. This position supports the project team by coordinating preconstruction activities, including initial client communication, scope development, estimating, scheduling, and permitting. Working closely with designers, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors, the Preconstruction Coordinator ensures that all elements are in place for a smooth project launch.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a working knowledge of construction and remodeling processes are essential.

• Collaborate with clients, designers, and sales to understand project goals and expectations
• Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, and timelines during the preconstruction phase
• Coordinate site visits, takeoffs, and measurements as needed
• Gather and organize bids from subcontractors and vendors
• Help create accurate project estimates and proposal documents
• Track and manage preconstruction milestones and deadlines
• Facilitate permit applications and monitor their status
• Maintain organized project files and ensure all documentation is up to date
• Support transition from preconstruction to production, including hand-off meetings

• Education & Experience:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not always required)
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, remodeling, estimating, or project coordination
  • Experience in residential home building or remodeling is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and trade practices
