We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects from initial planning through final closeout. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical and project management expertise who can deliver complex projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate works collaboratively with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal partners to execute projects to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead construction projects from preplanning through closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans including schedules, phasing, procurement timelines, and resource planning.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and efficient execution.
- Monitor jobsite progress through regular meetings, site visits, schedule updates, and budget tracking, addressing issues proactively.
- Manage all project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies while fostering a strong safety culture.
- Identify project risks early and collaborate with design teams to resolve conflicts and minimize impacts.
- Lead meetings with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, providing consistent updates on milestones and progress.
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams during early project phases to support budgeting, value engineering, and planning efforts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle and ensure satisfaction through project turnover.
- Manage project financials including budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and invoice review.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across project teams.
- Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish within commercial, industrial, or multifamily sectors.
- Strong leadership ability with experience coordinating project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, Plan Grid, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, building codes, and contract administration.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or similar credentials are a plus.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to deliver successful project outcomes.
