Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Grande Custom Builders is hiring a reliable Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer to support our residential construction projects in the Charlotte area. This hands‑on, full‑time role requires someone who knows how to run machines, dig clean footings, assist with site prep, and pitch in wherever needed. • Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, backhoes, and dump trucks
• Perform grading, trenching, digging footings, back filling, and occasional demolition work
• Load and secure equipment for transport when needed
• Perform routine daily maintenance on equipment, including greasing and inspections
• Maintain a clean, organized jobsite and follow safety protocols
• Support the team with general labor duties as needed
• Communicate with project managers and coworkers to stay aligned on tasks

• At least three years of experience operating heavy equipment in residential construction
• Experience with routine maintenance of construction machinery
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and situational awareness
• Willingness to take direction and support others on the team
• Ability to stay productive without direct supervision
• Valid driver's license with a clean or insurable driving record
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work on‑site in Charlotte full‑time (not a remote or hybrid role)
