Job Summary:
As a Multi-Skilled Construction Laborer, you will be a versatile and essential member of our construction team. You will perform a wide range of labor-oriented tasks on construction sites, including equipment operation with a focus on loader operation, offroad truck driving, roller operation, and general construction support.
- Laborer duties such as digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials; assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling; perform manual labor to support construction operations.
- Loader Operator responsibilities: operate and maintain loaders for material handling and moving heavy equipment; load materials onto trucks or other equipment with precision and efficiency; conduct routine loader maintenance and report issues.
- Offroad Truck Driver responsibilities: safely operate offroad trucks to transport materials, equipment, and personnel within construction sites; adhere to safe driving practices, including load securing and vehicle maintenance; maintain accurate records of materials transported and adhere to schedules.
- Roller Operator responsibilities: operate and maintain rollers to compact and level surfaces; follow project plans and specifications to achieve desired compaction; conduct routine maintenance and report issues.
- Construction Support: collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members; assist in maintaining construction quality and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Proven experience as a Laborer, Loader Operator, Offroad Truck Driver, Roller Operator, or in similar labor-oriented roles in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience operating loaders, offroad trucks, or rollers is preferred.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
