Executive Search - General BuildingResponsibilities- Support the development of detailed work scopes and front-end bid documents for large-scale healthcare construction projects, ensuring clarity, constructability, and alignment with healthcare regulations and operational requirements.
- Assist with bid processes, including responding to bidder questions, participating in post-bid interviews, and identifying qualified trade partners with proven experience delivering complex healthcare scopes.
- Enforce corporate safety policies on healthcare jobsites, including pre-task safety planning, infection control (ICRA), and maintaining strict compliance with site-specific safety and regulatory standards.
- Organize and manage day-to-day on-site field operations, including supervision of field labor forces within active or occupied healthcare environments.
- Supervise, coordinate, and sequence contractor work to minimize disruption to ongoing hospital operations, patients, staff, and adjacent clinical spaces.
- Assist the Project Manager with budget management and forecasting, including cost control, evaluation of change events, and monitoring time-and-materials work associated with healthcare construction.
- Develop and implement comprehensive site logistics plans for large healthcare campuses or occupied facilities to maximize productivity while minimizing impacts to building occupants and hospital operations.
- 10+ years of experience directly supervising complex construction projects, including multiple trade partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with owners, healthcare stakeholders, architects, engineers, inspectors, and contractors.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to professionally manage conflicts in high-stakes, operationally sensitive healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, performance standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety, with specific experience in healthcare compliance.
- Market experience may include higher education, aerospace, or sports facilities; however,
prior experience delivering large-scale healthcare construction projects is required
.
