Electrical Construction Manager – (Data Centers)

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Electrical Construction Manager to support our data center project in Baton Rouge, LA. The role leads daily scheduling and planning at the project site, ensuring that the right materials, equipment, and people are available to get the job done while maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental stewardship.

• Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain official project documentation files and logs.
• Perform onsite activities, including inspections and walkdowns, and handle construction or field administration tasks.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and other deliverables to support project turnover.
• Ensure all construction complies with design specifications and drawings.
• Support the project management team in change management and monthly invoicing processes.
• Track work in place and construction progression.
• Coordinate and manage daily tasks to support the project schedule and accurate reporting.
• Build a cooperative partnership between the client, contractor, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.

• At least 8 years of construction site experience.
• Knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components, contract management, project delivery methods, and client relationship building.
• Understanding of construction activity sequencing and execution.
• Strong understanding of Electrical systems and associated equipment.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and physical presence on active construction projects.
• Experience managing a project schedule.
• Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance testing/reporting.
• Experience with pre‑dynamic and dynamic walkdown and startup processes.
• Knowledge of commissioning and qualification processes for MEP systems.

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Data center construction experience.
• Knowledge of Automatic Temperature Control (ATC), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and process control systems such as Delta
  
  V.
• Experience with starting up equipment and systems and day‑to‑day management until project turnover.
• Experience implementing LEAN strategies and technologies such as the Last Planner System, 5S Construction, and Off‑Site Manufacturing.
