Job Overview

Lead Project Superintendent responsible for leading planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish. Works side by side with the Project Manager and mentors Assistant Superintendents. Manages one project at a time on the job site.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Create and effectively manage the Project Schedule to ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Scheduler to perform monthly schedule updates and distribute them to Development and Subcontractors/Vendors.
  • Coordinate with local authorities to plan all required inspections and approvals in a timely manner.
  • Lead day-to-day site operations, overseeing Range Water Construction teammates, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain a well‑maintained job site.
  • Ensure project budget is effectively allocated and tracked in support of the Project Manager.
  • Assist in procurement of all subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring a complete scope is established (no gaps or overlaps).
  • Review design documents and submittals to ensure all required details are provided and coordinated.
  • Manage the three‑phase quality control program for each feature of work, including:
    • Pre‑installation meeting
    • First install verification
  • Engage manufacturers and AHJ to incorporate their requirements on time.
  • Ensure a safe work site for employees, subcontractors, and the public in consultation with the Safety Manager.
  • Uphold Range Water integrity standards and reputation at all times.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Development Managers, and Development Construction Managers to proactively resolve project challenges.
  • Develop and maintain key subcontractor and design consultant relationships.
  • Plan work and establish the operating rhythm for the Project Team.
Qualifications & Expectations
  • Must meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and comply with physical demands and Range Water policies.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes, reporting violations appropriately.
  • Practice proper safety techniques per company, property, and departmental policies, promptly reporting any safety issues.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing construction projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
