Solo mother is seeking a highly reliable, professional, and experienced driver to care and drive for her two children, ages 15 and 10. The position requires flexibility, as the days of the week may fluctuate between Monday and Thursday. The nanny must have a reliable and safe car and be willing to show a valid driver’s license and current car insurance documents.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of driving experience in the US, with an excellent driving record.

This is a part-time position, with a commitment of 2 to 3 days per week, in the evenings only (5:30pm to 8:30pm). Weekend hours may also be available for those interested in extra hours. 10 hours weekly will be guaranteed. The position is ideal for a schoolteacher who works in the mornings and would like to make some extra income, an empty nest mom who is retired or stays at home and has the flexibility, or a college student who studies during the day and is free at night.

Responsibilities:

Pick up the children from their home and drive them to after-school activities and sports

Sports may be as far as 45 min drive away from the family’s home (gas stipend is provided)

Nanny must stay in attendance throughout the children’s sport practices and then safely bring them home

Requirements:

Must be a non-smoker

Comfortable with using Google Maps for directions

Willing to go through a background check and driving record check

Must have a clean driving record, with no major infractions

Has both Reliable and Well-kept/maintained automobile for use in transporting children

Position Compensation

Salary: $22 to $24 an hour depending on experience
