Job Description

Pro Sidian seeks a Communications Intern (Communications [COC
0071268]) for Program Support on a exempt 1099 contract. The role is a technical element located across the CONUS – Charlotte, NC and the Mid‑Atlantic region. 268 candidates with relevant Government and Public Services sector experience (functional and technical expertise ideal) are being considered.

Functional Area

Professional – Communications Support position, with the option to convert to a full‑time Pro Sidian W‑2 position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Communications Intern in the Government and Public Services industry sector, focusing on Human Capital solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) and Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA). The internship is primarily located in the Mid‑Atlantic region (CONUS – Charlotte, NC). The work site address is 663 East 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist with drafting press releases, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Help manage content calendars.
  • Conduct research for communication strategies.
  • Support event coordination and promotion.
  • Update media contact lists and databases.
Desired Qualifications

Interest in communications, journalism, or PR.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate in communications, public relations, or a related field.

Skills Required

Writing, editing, and organization.
