The Role:The Contract Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of contracts within the Water Solutions and Services segment of Xylem. This role includes reviewing contracts for compliance with company policies and legal requirements, advising various business units on the contractual risks, and facilitating communication between parties to efficiently negotiate contracts. The Analyst must be detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
This is a Hybrid position that will work at our Charlotte Enterprise Collaboration Hub 3 days out of the week.
Responsibilities:Contract Review and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough review and analysis of contract terms and conditions
- Identify any discrepancies, potential issues, and/or contractual risks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to negotiate contract terms
- Make recommendations for modifications or amendments as needed
- Ensure all changes are properly documented and approved
- Identify and resolve any compliance issues
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records
- Assist with contract renewals, terminations, and other modifications
Collaboration:
- Serve as the main point of contact for contract related inquiries and issues
- Communicate contract terms and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure contract success
- Provide trainings to various business units on contractual risks and relevant policies
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Make recommendations for process improvements based on analysis
- Work closely with legal department to ensure contract compliance and mitigate potential legal risks
- Provide support for legal review and approval of contracts
- Assist with contract dispute resolution and legal documentation as needed
- A bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, or a related field OR an associate’s degree with at least 5 years work experience in construction or project management that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Understanding of contract law and experience with various types of contracts.
- Strong analytical abilities to review and interpret contractual terms and conditions.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contract preparation and review.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with internal and external parties.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
- Familiarity with contract management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
